So recently I made an emergency upgrade to a 60 cube. I do not yet have one but I was planning to make the last fish I add to the tank a coral beauty. Now I’m not sure where I heard it or what the reason was, but I remember during some researching into reefing that you should add a dwarf angel last.

but at the same time I also wanted to eventually add a blue mandarin. This would clearly be months in the future by which I could add a coral beauty.

Would there be a problem with adding a mandarin later than the angel? Or should I wait for my pod population to be mature enough to introduce the mandarin, and then introduce the beauty?Or am I imagining a rule for dwarf angels that doesn’t exist?
Thanks in advance.

My flameback is so aggressive that it could probably compete with a great white shark when it comes to new fish

I added a HUGE mandarin and my Dwarf Golden Angel (The shyest of ALL Angels) pecked at him for an entire week.

Thankfully my mandarin was about twice his size, and was kind of like "okay bro"

But I recommend adding the mandarin first.

If you're worried about starving the mandarin just feed it pods?

Order some every month from Algae barn for 3-4 months.

You'll be fine.

Good for your tank any ways.

I don't think it's possible to have "too many pods" :p
