Potato Chip with fuzzy stuff growing on it.

Hello all,

Two weeks ago my husbands friend gave us a potato chip coral frag and it hasn’t been doing well. A couple days ago it looked like it had white spots on it and then today it has some white fuzzy stuff growing on it. I’ll post a picture but does that mean it’s dead? I’m pretty new to this so I don’t know too much about them.

That’s what I’ve read but wasn’t positive because it’s so tiny.

I believe those are is polyps , you can look it up and compare it

Kind of looks like my green branching psammocora. If so the fuzz is the polyps, looks like soft velvet.
