Hi there,

Today while getting ready to do a water change I noticed some weird things with my fish. First, both of my clownfish have white stringy poop. The male clownfish is also slightly bloated and is spending most of the time in their cave (which is unusual). My tail spot blenny is also looking quite bloated. Aside from all this, everyone is acting and eating normally. The only other fish I have is a purple firefish who is fine. I feed them frozen mysis, formula 2, TDO, or new life spectrum pellets (not all at once…I vary day to day). Additionally, the tail spot blenny mostly eats algae off the rocks and the clowns sometimes pick pods off the glass (I have tons of them). Nitrates are approximately 10ppm and phos is around .01ppm. I have a Red Sea Reefer 350 (75 gallon DT with 15 gallon sump). The clowns I’ve had for about 2 years and the blenny I’ve had for about 1.5 months. Pictures of the blenny and female clown are below. Sorry they’re not great. Thanks in advance for any help!

Tailspot looks ok. As for clowns, they to seem ok and while I dont see much with bloating, it is possible the larger one is the one you refer to?
If so, larger often the female hogs the food and also could be eggs forming. With white poop, there are signs of internal issues such as loss of appetite, pinched belly or head. I believe the white poop shown is associated with diet- are you by chance feeding mysis shrimp and brine shrimp ? If so, these foods mimic white poop issues.
Assure good water quality and add foods to diet such as LRS fish frenzy, marine cuisine and small plankton and add selcon vitamins to foods occasionally

Thanks for the prompt reply! I do feed mysis so that could definitely be it.
