I know there are a million tang aggression threads out there but i didn't luck upon any specifically for this match up, i did though see one mention of them not liking diamond gobys.

Any thoughts on if it would be safe to introduce a white tail into my tank that already has a powder brown and a diamond goby? Tank is a 260G 84x30x24

You will probably get a little fighting but you never know until you try. Those are different shapes and colors so that’s good. However every fish has different personalities. I would try it but I combat aggression by over feeding. Fat happy fish fight less in my experience.

So i added them yesterday and my powder brown immediately started picking on the white tail. I have put some plastic egg crate in the tank and they are now on separate sides. they are both looking good now and not stressed. How long should i leave the egg crate in place ?
