Had a look via the search function as this seems like the kindof thing that would have been asked before, but didn't find a thread on it.

Having a hard time chasing down the Tunze optional power supply for their Macro reactor.

Part info:

Power supply unit 24V DC 6095.240

I can find it direct from their site and ship from Germany, kindof pricy. I'll pay if needed, but wondering if folks know of a supplier in Canada that carries it?

Another thought. Will any 24V DC power supply work, or does it have to be Tunze brand? If I can get a generic one that's 1/2 to possibly 1/3rd the price after shipping.

I have the Algae reactor under my tank servicing a 90 gallon (no overflow, no sump), and the pump that comes with it functions OK, but is under powered. It needs a fair bit of priming after servicing/removing algae to get it running again (It can't seem to push the air out of the tubing easily without assistance).

Any help is much appreciated!

Do these guys ship to CA?

Looks like they do. Thanks for the link.

Looks to be a similar price point ~$80 + shipping & taxes.

I may very well go that route if there's no alternative though.

But curious if anyone has any insight on if generic 24V DV power supply would work?
