Powerhead in the sump?

Hi everybody,
I have a question: my 75G tank is serviced with a 25G sump and I noticed that the water is somehow stagnant in some areas of the sump. Here and there you could see a biofilm on the surface.
My return pump is an ecotech vectra S2, set up at 45%, allowing for 8x exchange with the tank. I was wondering if installing a small powerhead in the sump could be beneficial for the system or if it is right to maintain the current slow flow to optimise filtration.

I keep a tunze nano powerhead in my sump, it keeps everything moving.

I use a powerhead in my sump to make the water more turbulent where the dosing tubes are.

I keep small Tunze powerheads in my refugiums. Helps keep water circulating around the macro. Aids a little with keeping the macro from turning into a mechanical filter.

a 25g sump? I would love to see it. is it custom, as I've never heard of a 25g tank before. I am setting up a 75g display tank, and still torn on weather to go with a 20g breeder, or a 40g long breeder, or even a 55g, but that thing is HUGE and takes up a ton of underneath real estate.

Yes it’s custom, when I set up the tank I tough the sump is never big enough
