I hope that this doesn’t open a can of worms.

I’m looking for a power head to mix my saltwater and pump it into the aquarium. (From the floor) The reviews on BRS are all over the place. It seems like all of the power heads I looked at had lots of reviews were they didn’t last for more than a very short period of time.

Now I understand that if they were truly junk they wouldn’t be in business very long.

So how about some guidance on brands and models that I should consider?
 
I've got a sicce syncra 3.0 for this, it mixes my salt and then I can attach a hose to it to and pump it about 6', from the bottom of the bucket over the top of the tank. It's lasted my about 4-5 years now, never had an issue with it. Sicce has been a good brand for me, I use a few different sicce pumps and powerheads on my 4 tanks.
