That update post made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. After reading the first post and then the update, it goes to show that prayers work.

Just 24hrs after open heart surgery she was sitting up eating breakfast! Within 48hrs all chest tubes were removed. Her breathing has improved tremendously, allowing her to go an entire day without the aid of a BPAP machine, first time in 3 months!
Kelly & I were very scared. The trauma we've suffered from losing 2 sisters to cancer and our father to heart failure since 2004 kind of put our faith on the rocks. We're all that is left of our family.
Faith without work is dead. We're working it!! [emoji2]

Update: Kelly's coming home tomorrow!! My son and his g/f are driving the 10hr round trip to bring her home.

Last Update: Sister is now attending PT 2x a week. Has gained 7lbs in the last 2wks and is now a whopping 97lbs! 100% off the oxygen. She even took a short drive to the grocery store.

Great to read that she's home, I just recently lost a friend to cancer . She fought , went into remission after chemo but had heart failure and it came back with a vengeance. She lost her battle last month , she was 24 years old. But she's in peace now and her family and everybody can move fwd from this. It def put a dent in my life though that's for sure but really good to hear some good came from this post. [emoji173]️
