I've heard that prazi can no longer be used in the same tank after 3 or 4 doses, as the bacteria that breaks down the medication will have grown, and will thus break down the prazi too quickly.

I have a DT and a QT, BOTH have recently undergone 3 full doses of prazi, each 7 days apart (long story).

Rather than break down the entire QT tank, sanitize, and start over, I'd like to keep it cycled for any new fish additions in the future. That said, would prazi now be less effective in the QT if used to treat prophylactically?

Yes, prazi wont even work at this point. If you don’t want to tear it down and sterilize it, Its best do a hyposalinty next time.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
