I’ll be doing a one gallon water change weekly, which will help remove majority of the nutrients. I will also be cleaning off the glass, and using a turkey baster to blow any unwanted debris off the rock before every water change.

Update 1:
Here’s most of the equipment I’ve gotten so far... still have to order the Kessil Spectral Controller, and a different power strip.

Update 2:
Went the LFS today and picked up about 5 Lbs of live rock. I let the rock soak in fresh RO/DI water for the past 12 hours... I had a few bristleworms and other various hitchhikers come off.
Here’s a few pictures of the process

This is the scape I’ve came up with so far...

Have any ideas on what Coral you'd like to get first?
I have a TON of nice frags from my old tank that I’m taking down! I’ll probably start with some Zoas, and eventually make my way up to some nicer SPS pieces I have. I’m trying to keep it balanced and don’t want to much of the same coral, I want a little variety of everything.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
