My question is I have several sps in my tank I being doing sps for many years but I noticed that this in particular is loosing the pink all of my other sps are doing great except this one my parameters are the following.

Alk 8.3
Calcium 430
Phosphates. 06
Nitrate 12.5
Magnesium 1350

Using 2 radions xr 15 blue only blues, violet and uv at 100 % 75 %intencity

Flow is pretty good
The coral is getting about 275 part of light.

I dose ab+ 2 time a week and restore from brigtwell.

Any suggestions on how to bring the pink back?

Any suggestions

You need more daylight to get most pinks to render. Once the coral has the color, then you can pop it some. My guess is that the pink faded over time with your heavy-blue lighting. If so, it can come back.

Daylight to render the best color and then blue-it-up to your liking to show them off.

I don’t see a potassium reading/level?

I dose that everyday and have found it to be important to red/pink coloration.

380-410 is about my target.

good luck

Bright well is good. I like the powders and mix with rodi but you’ll need a small kitchen scale found cheap online. I’ve also used loudwolf potassium chloride. I use the salifert Test kit for potassium. It’s very simple and seems fairly accurate compared to my icp results.

I would get a test kit before you dose K. Too much is not good.
