Problem algae ID help

I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking at. It's not the typical Cyano.. or Dinos. If It's something already visited, I haven't found It yet. As you can see in the last pic, it does have a few nitrogen bubbles... however the overall texture is more like felt than snot. Not slimly at all. I DO have some small patches of traditional dino that appear on my LR occasionally, but typically stays isolated to the rock.

I agree with both in a way, but that's why I'm confused/ stumped.
It's not uncommon for my sandbed to produce nitrogen bubbles with no algae present. I think the 3rd pic may simply show those bubbles getting caught in the algae? There are no bubbles in 90% of what's covered.

I lean to cyano.

If you pass something through it, is it "snotty"? That is often diagnostic of dinos and not cyano.

I had the same thing it cleared up in 2 1/2 days with this.

I treated it as cyano since there was no Slimy feel to it. I typically stay away from any chemical treatments, but a few of my Zoas were getting affected. Chemiclean with aggressive siphoning. 2nd 20% WC will be done this evening. I'll post some results when complete. Thanks for the input.

Chemi-clean is basically the same product. I've gotten good results in the past, but doesn't seem to affect this much.

Update:
Aside from the manual removal, I didn't see any affect from the Chemi-Clean treatment. It's growing again. A long time Reefer buddy of mine suggested I try API Algae Fix Marine. He recently experimented with it to clear some "Brown Fuzzy Stuff" on his LR & GHA on his back wall. Both were eradicated with out negatively impacting his reef. I'll pick up some today and give it a try. Fingers crossed!

I would wait a least a week or two before treating your tank with another chemical. One thing I have personally experienced using ChemiClean. It affected my Bristle Worms in a big way! Causing them to curl up into ball like positions, a very strange unusual behavior. Many of which then died. All within my SB also died, adding much excess nutrients to an already cyano infected SB.

Good point NanaReefer. Sometimes we get carried away when trying to treat issues. Nothing worse than creating additional problems when trying to fix the first one.

Update: After waiting a week, I used API Algae Fix Marine. My initial problem is 90-95% gone after the 3rd day of treatment. No ill effects shown on any inhabitants. Clam, SPS, LPS, various Shrimp and other sensitive invertebrates. I've timed this to my normal WC schedule which is today.
