Hello, I decided to start a new topic. I have 4 a8s lamps. In 3 of them the entire section of light blue LEDs failed. The blue LEDs shine very dimly, it is barely visible. Due to the fact that the entire section of the same color failed, I thought the problem was with the motherboard. Today I replaced the board in one of the lamps with a new one and it turned out that it was not that. I do not think that the all blue LEDs burned out either, because how? All at once in the same section? The only thing left is to replace the entire LED board, but maybe someone has an idea what else it could be? The problem must be known to the manufacturer, because the a8s lamps have been withdrawn from AliExpress, interesting that 3 out of 4 lamps failed...

Send one to @_AV

Hi, I have two A8se and two weeks ago one had the same problem (all the blue channel that doesn't work). The manufacturer has sent a new array of LEDs and I'm waiting to receive it but...in this moment the blue channel of the other one A8se failed, too. It's very strange in my opinion but the only thing I can do now is waiting to receive the first new array of LEDs and try it out.

it's interesting what you're writing because I thought the problem only affected the A8s version on Cree leds, but it turned out that the version on Chinese leds has the same problem. In my opinion, the defect must also be somewhere in the led connections, because they probably wouldn't all burn out at once on the same circuit. Does anyone else have this problem?

I managed to solve the problem with the lamp. It turns out that these lamps have manufacturing defects. The LEDs are soldered incorrectly and fall off. The repair consists of re-soldering the LEDs. This is done on a heating plate with soldering paste. Unfortunately, it cannot be done with a regular soldering iron. After heating and replacing the soldering strip, the LEDs work normally.

Just curious. How much power were you running? Wondering if close to pull power is getting it hot enough to mess with the connection

Have you fixed it?

We have the same problem what the heck HAHAHHAHA

Also same problem anyone know anyone that can fix in the states?

Where would I purchase just the parts for this? I bought them used actually a few months ago however the previous owner said he just couldn’t get all 4 of his to sync so he moved on. I was using the LPS mode or whatever on the app
most likely have to order a LED panel or the Mainboard. both are pretty cheap. How long before it happened and how much power do you know you may have been using on the light?

You’ll have to dig around searching on aliexpress.
Here are some spares but no led cluster, only main board and that out of stock….. Here

My light blues are out too. Just put up a backup old led for that spectrum. So only fix is with a heating plate and soldering paste? Not sure I’m up to that challenge.

I replaced my lamps in the fall because I was fed up with this crap. Don't buy it! It's junk! I had 12 of them for 1.5 years. All versions, Pro, S, and AS, both versions 1 and 2 max. All had manufacturing defects in the form of failing channels. It was only a matter of time. The diodes on some of them fell off when touched with tweezers. the problem is faulty LED soldering
