Does anyone know what could be wrong with my lepto coral. not going to write down all my perams because ik those arent the problem. everything is is correct quantities and has been stable. coral was having decent growth with visible signs of it encrusting. randomly one day it just got these white spots and started to spread. looks like its decaying or something like that. again no changes in my perams have been made.

no they dont touch. the one to its right is a stylo coral which only has very small tenticals that stick out.

Hm... I have the same Jacko-lantern one, he started getting the same things... white spots, let him go for a bit and he came back better. I think he was shadowing himself from the light. As well as just being ornery.
Make sure he's getting appropriate light, and double check your parameters are in appropriate ranges. If it doesn't get WORSE I'd say he'll recover, if they get larger I'd worry more.

sounds good. lighting shouldnt be a problem as its been under the same light for over 2 months with no issues, so ill just give it some time and see

mine also gets little white spots sometime. I'm not sure if something is biting it, or stinging it, or a grain of sand falls on it, but it always heals in a day or two. Is your healing right away?

yeah its happened sometimes when I clean the tank where it gets irritated and it gets a white spot which usually goes away after a day. but these dont seem to be due to that. it looks more like damage to the actual body of the coral and has been there for over about 3-4 days now

Mine lasted almost a month, it never grew in size (the damage) but the next month it healed up and the entire piece almost doubled in size.
