It happens to ALL of us in life whether we want to admit it or not.. we get thick headed and hard to deal with! Like the other day when I thought it'd be perfectly fine to add the clownfish i had in a bucket to my extremely new system.. Yeah not a good idea if i hadnt listened to you guys well there'd be one less clownfish.. anyways I tested with old kits and got decent results in most places said to heck with it, and bought all new kits today on my way home from rochester and BAM! Almost ALL of my levels were bad and nitrites and ammonia were at levels considered deadly to fish... needless to say i learned my lesson... no matter how right i think I am.. when it comes to tanks.. 99% you guys know best.. So thanks, for letting me be a member and for dealing with me ;)
