Here's the little 10 gallon mancave nano. As of right now there is a pair of clownfish and a hermit crab. There's a few zoa frags and hairy mushrooms and some GSP. My LFS had some raffles at their anniversary sale and I split my tickets between an Icecap ATO and a 100gpd ro/di. Wish me luck lol. I plan on a shrimp and goby pair for this tank. I have been thinking about an anemone for the clownfish too.

Sorry for the late reply, the RFG unfortunately did not quite fit. But I was able to find a splitter and two duckbill type nozzles that work great for me. No more sand flying everywhere. How is your build going? Can you give an update on your current livestock
On the fish side right now here's what's on the tank. Black leopard wrasse, 2 fancy clownfish, 2 orange line cardinals, 2 lyretail anthias, starry lawnmower blenny, and diamond goby. 2 cleaner shrimp, and I added 2 emerald crabs the other day but I haven't seen them out yet. As for corals, I've been trying to keep kind of a catalogue of what goes in the tank and when in this thread but I may have forgotten. If you have any questions on the coral or anything else, I'm happy to answer. I'm going for a mixed LPS SPS reef, but I'm still figuring the SPS side out. No giving up lol

Question for you all. Any suggestions on how to remove some mushroom babies from a frag plug? This frag started as 2 and a baby. Now there's 6 and a baby. I'd like to remove some of them and get them attached to some rubble. I'd like to give away a few to local reefers and trade a few to my LFS for store credit. I personally think they are a very nice looking mushroom. Here's a pic of the frag.

Got a quick update! A few posts back I updated the thread about the mancave nano. There's currently two clownfish in there and I was thinking about getting them an anemone. Over the last few days, the anemone in the Prostar has been acting weird. Thin tentacles and moving around within a 4 inch area of where it normally stays. When I checked the tank today after the lights ramped up gets what I found! A new baby split! Now I just gotta get it off the rock and into a basket for the nano.

A little update for you guys. Tank has been looking pretty good. All the lps are nice and plump. Even the Space invader pictinia lol. I drove down to Indy last Sunday to help my daughter with moving for her senior year of college. After unloading everything I hopped on Google and looked for some fish stores lol. There were a bunch but sadly only one was open. So I headed on over to THE REEF on on Indy's Northside. Very nice store and very reasonable prices imo. I didn't plan very good so I only got 2 corals. A red Goni and a dark Acan that I'm hoping I can brighten up. I had to drive past my own LFS on the way home lol. So I stopped and of course they still had a nice Fox Coral that I was looking at. So I brought that home too. Still gotta get some pics of the Fox Coral tho.

The Fox Coral is finally all the way open and looking good. I don't know what the dark stuff in the sand is. If anyone has any thoughts on it feel free to chime in and help me out. It's light sensitive, kinda acts like cyano but I'm not sure. I'm sure I hate how it looks tho lol.

Had some downtime at work and stumbled upon a coral auction from a store not too far away. Took about an hour drive to pick up instead of shipping. What's in the box? A lil something something lol. Stay tuned. They're already temp acclimating. About to go for a dip, then they'll be ready to show

Looks like cyano. I’ve been dealing with cyano myself and actually just resorted to using chemiclean. That fox coral is ****** though.

I'm not at the chemiclean point yet I don't think. But I do have some in the supply closet just in case. My parameters have been steady and everything except a few areas in the sand look good so it's gonna be a last resort.
Hopefully you don’t have to use it at all. I only had to because it was starting to have an effect on my livestock

What's up everyone. Got some pictures of the auction winnings. All open and looking healthy. I gave them their first feeding on the rack today along with the fish. Here's what I feed the tank. Usually a mixture of everything along with some flakes.

What's up everyone. Another quick update and mini photo dump. Got all of the winnings from the auction mounted in place. Happy to say that everything in the tank is looking happy. (Knock on wood) Yesterday I did my weekly/bi-weekly water testing. Interesting results. At least to me.
Nitrate - 14.2
Phosphate - .17
Alk- 9.6
Cal- 435
Mag- 1335-1340.
What's interesting to me is that my phosphates are the highest they've been since setting up this tank, which almost made me panic a little worried about the the amount of algae and whatever the stuff in the sand was increasing. But to my surprise, the sand is very clean, no increased algae, and even my few SPS are fluffy. So I'm gonna try to maintain these level for the near future and keep a close eye on the tank.

I've been trying to work on the view from the side panels as well. A few of the new corals are only visible from the sides. Still have some work to do on the other side. Aka the zoa garden

Not really an update but just some of my thoughts on the future of my little reef. First, controller. I've been watching videos and reading and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna dive into the Hydros world of controllers in the near future. Next, I've talked to a few local reefers about my luck with SPS. Our consensus was either lights or flow. I have two A.I. Hydra 32 HD's on the tank now. I've heard nothing but good reviews on the Quanta LED bars. With that would come maybe reworking my entire light setup. I was thinking a hanging canopy with the two hydras and then two of the Quanta bars. Last, a CO2 scrubber. I just figure it can only help with coral growth.

What's up fellow Reefers. Sorry for the delay. Once again work has been keeping me away from my tank this week. Tank is pretty much on auto pilot as far as dosing goes. The wife has continued to help with feeding when I'm working crazy hours until I get an auto feeder. As promised, here's the haul from Aquashella.
Bright Acan Single head
Rainbow Pectinia
