Protein skimmer question

I am in the market for a new protein skimmer. My reef tank is 120 gal. with a 40 gal sump. I am looking at the Octopus Diablo XS 225. Is this overkill for my size tank? My current Octopus skimmer is nws 150 and the pump is burning out. Thanks
