Protein skimmer sitting on shelf

Has anyone turned a job protein skimmer that isn't being used anymore into a reactor or something else that can be useful?

I’m curious to hear other suggestions about how to repurpose a skimmer. One possibility is to simply sell (or trade) the skimmer and buy the reactor or other parts you need. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Timely you should ask. I am going to try to turm asm skimmer into media reactor after I visit Lows or home depot for parts .
