Protein skimmer

What is a good skimmer that would fit in a 9.5"-5" sump chamber for 72 gallon tank. Also what is better for a reef. A berlin sump or refugium sump

I have an SWC120 on my 75 gal and l love it. Not sure what the specs are.

It one inch too big. If i do a refugium but if i do berlin sump it fill fit

I just need to know what is better for a reef

I is a matter of preference. Depends on who you talk to. I prefer a traditional sump with equipment in it, and an area big enough to hold some sand and live rock. This area can help raise copepods. They will in turn go through the pump and to the display tank.

Those wont fit in the sump if i do both a refugiumm and a skimmer

Sometimes you need to make a choice. You could do Mud instead of a Fuge.

Will an eshopps psk 100 fit? Decent skimmer for the price. I used one on my 65g tank with 20g sump.

I just recently got a Skimz skimmer and so far I love it. Works great and was easy to dial in. The pump is inside the skimmer so it saves a ton if room

If those wont fit, then your going to be running an under sized skimmer thats not going to help you alot.

i got a Bubble Magus Curve 7 recently and it is doing very well. that and the skimz monster sm 161 fit the dimensions your looking for I believe.
