Protein skimmers

What would be a good hob protein skimmer for a 125 gallon tank? Would the reef octopus 2000 work for a fish only tank with tangs and angel fish and some other fish too

Hang on the back on 125 gallon. If your looking to get tangs and angels I recommend a slimmer that is suited for at least 150 heavy to medium bio load and 175-200 light. Hi.....if the Oct 2000....will double your skimmer power then go for it.... most people will over stock on purpose or on accident.... I have a 300 gallon and run a octopus rated for 500 gal and and a cloud 9 rated for 400 gal.... bit i have very dirty meat eaters ....what ever you decide go for double to skimming power of your 125....good luck
