hi folks
i recently bought this pump as i seen many posts about it being a replacement for the old psk 2500.
waited a long time with covid delays and it finally came i was very unhappy.
no way is this a replacement pump for the 2500. it is way too strong
anybody know about the psk 600?

I have a old reef octopus built like a tank that had a psk 2500. I have been wanting to get this running again. Even with the water controlled closed it still overfills the chamber.
This skimmer is 6 inch round and about 16 inch high and when running skims like a champ a really good skimmer

Thank you for your help

The octopus I have is like 15 or 18 years old and is one of the first they made and perfect for my 125 gal
Seems like sicce has no data on ratings to be found.
The old 2500 I never seen any flow data listed.
I wonder if anyone has a 600 they would like to trade for a 1000?
