Feeling overwhemed by the description of your system. Just wondered if the addition of ozone at low levels into your skimmer would also assist in clarifying the water? What do you think?

Hi, thank you first at all.
D-D The Aquarium solution, who assisted me on this method, does use occassionally or minimum Ozone as well sometimes to get the water crystal clean.
I would just be careful with the use of Ozone and would definately watch ORP closely.

After dark.....................Monster Light upgrade completed...........LED's are running as supplementation to MH/T5 - ~1,600W total now.

PSX Tank appears incredible like in the Avatar movie, amazing what some corals look like under certain LED settings ;-)

I can't catch the effect of the tank with the camera as it is in real.

Why did you removed the socks? Were there any problems with them?

Sorry for the late reply !!!!!
I removed the socks to have any type of food longer in the system instead of "absorbed" by the socks.

After I started the SIPORAX 25mm (Chaos installation type) I use prefilter foam blocks to keep the real large particles away from the SIPORAX.
I have much better PE throughout the entire day now, and even the Sun Corals and Zoa and LPS seem to love it.
That is a nice side effect.

The previous picture shows some Dino's still on the sand, which were gone a week later after adding the second and last batch of SIPORAX.
Will need to make a current one to proof the method shortly.

Sun Coral feeding................................

Drilled a hole into the measuring cup for the syringe.

Since I'm running sockless, I really wanted one of these guys back in my tank.
Had one years back with no success due to feeding and a too clean tank.

So as soon the Coral is nicely trained to later in the day times, I hope I can stop Spot feeding this guy while running sockless.

Here the repost of my Water change system video.
Watch in HD as well.

The full WCS description is back on page 2/3/4 of this thread, for the ones that might be interested on it.
Still well functioning!!!

Always great to see a update.

Very true.

Ramping up now and big changes are coming up as you know ;-)

Today I'm going to receive my Calcium Reactor and all the gear to it.
Reactor, Regulator, Apex module, PH probe, Bottle, media etc............
Only thing missing for two more days is the 2nd Chamber reactor, that is coming in on Saturday..grrrrrr.

So another long exhausting night on the reef is expected, love this hobby !!!!!!

Good thing is, a Beer brewing supply store is not that far away ;-)
So right after work I will get my bottle filled up with Beverage grade Co2.

Dang, driving through town with no success :-(
Brewing supplies closed till Saturday, Paintball stores closed as well rest of the week and in the other store the guy had no clue how to fill a Co2 tank.
Better luck somewhere else tomorrow.
