Puffer and Shrimp

Sorry if I post this in the wrong forum but I currently have a Saddle Valentini Puffer, which is doing very well and is blast to watch. Its currently on the small side, maybe an 1-1.5" and was wondering if anyone has kept cleaner shrimp with them without having the shrimp turn into a tasty treat

Every fish is different so if someone had a puffer and shrimp co-exist in the same tank they got lucky. I wouldn’t add a shrimp

I agree with @James M. Thier beak will make short work of most
crustaceans. I wouldn't add any shrimp with it. That's an expensive meal.

that's what i was figuring but i figured it wouldnt hurt to ask. might do some peppermint shrimp one day as a tasty snack for it as i can usually get them really cheap
