I know that puffers need to fed shelled things to keep their beaks from overgrowing, my question is; to some extent will frozen cubes of food help to wear their beaks down too? Not as a sole method of course!

Puffers will gnaw on rock to keep their beak from overgrowing if they aren't keeping it in check via diet.

How curious. What are some good options apart from prawn/crab? The market for shelled fish food isn't exactly broad over here.

Clam, oyster or mussel on the half-shell - or just crack it to open a small section, and let Mrs. Puff work it out over the course of the day . . .

The mussels I have access to are twice the size of the puffer! Aha, I'll sort out some smaller ones though :) oysters?

X2 it's interesting to watch, I might add.
