pump failed

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere I had a pump fail in my saltwater mixing barrel the reason I noticed was I could smell burnt electrical and the water has that electrical smell it was almost a full 50 gallons mixed up my question is the water still good or should I get rid of it thanks for any replies back or if you experienced this issue before

Without any Idea why, other than something happened in the water, I would dump it.
