Hi

I installed a new Bubble Magus Calcium reactor 150 today and noticed the cylinder contained the media felt overly warm. On checking, the heat is coming from the recirculating pump. It's very warm almost hot. Is it faulty or is this normal?

Hi, I know it’s been 10 years since you posted this, but did you ever manage to figure out what was causing the issue? I’m using the same reactor as a sulphur nitrate reactor, and I’ve noticed that the pump reaches 50C while the acrylic reactor casing reaches 40C.
