Are they both compatible?? Which other gobies can stay with them in a 130g 4x2x2 feet tank?

I've seen a few instances where they were fine together, but anytime I tried keeping them oltogether it never lasted beyond a few months.

How to determine male female? Can we keep male female?
They are not sexually dimorphic. Te best way to have a pr is to find one that is bonded. Sometimes LADD has them. In a tank full of firefish at an LFS, look for 2 that are semi-close to each other, but are keeping the rest farther away.

Mine also lasted for a few months, wherein during that time the purple were the aggressor to the white, but that was in a 2 ft tank.
Probably they would fare better in your 4 ft

I've found they don't fare much better even in tanks 6' long.

I have a pair of the red with one Helfrichi that has been doing good so far!

Sweet revhtree,....are you planning to put a purple in there too? :D
