My lfs has a couple nice frags of Aussie Purple Star Polyp, but I can't find a whole lot about it. Searches keep getting crowded by GSP.

Wondering is the Purple just like the Green in that it is rediculously easy to keep and almost impossible to kill?

I've never seen people, but have seen blue.

I could never keep the blue, it would just melt away. I have regular gsp that grows like weeds

I have purple star polyp in my tank. Came in as a hitchiker. I cannot kill it. Every time I find some and get rid of it, a month later, I'll find a patch growing somewhere else in my tank. So yes. Impossible to kill, even for those of us that are actively trying to kill it.... I will say that, from my experience, it definitely likes Iodine. So if you are looking to encourage it's growth, dose iodine.
