Teadrop *shaped* growths

New tank cycling since early April. Have have had diatoms and starting to get some minor algae growth. Have some CuC and a bunch of pods in the tank, no fish yet. A decent sized toadstool coral and then some small zoa, gsp and mushroom frags.

Marco rock, Arag Alive Sand, bottled bac, and for the last few days, a few kg of live rock.

I’ve spotted four of these teardrop looking growths that almost look like balloons coming off the rocks. Purple in color. Ideas what this is?

Interesting. Had to google it, but agree, there is a lot of similarity to it. Will keep a close eye and see if it grows into that!

I’ve counted at least 7 decent sized ones. This is closing in on an inch long.

I can't find it there - but looks like Coelarthrum sp. as identified in another thread.
