Looking for inspirations on how to setup a refugium in the old waterbox sump. Right now it just one big chamber where the heater/skimmer is and the macro aglae eventually ends up on the bubble trap. They dont seem to make any baffle to section these off in the older models. How are yall getting a refugium setup and having enough flow to where to doesn't just sit still or flow into the return? I was thinking of setting up a small jebao wave maker right before that bubble trap to atleast push the macro algae back.

I have considered converting the ATO to refugium. I just gotta figure out where I can put the ATO.

I would divide the skimmer section and install a glass so it holds the cheato maybe to baffle so you could fit a sponge between just in case

Water will flow like this Overflow to the Sump -overflows to the sock section- runs to the cheato- baffle to the skimmer- baffles to the return pump
