Pyramid Snails

Any idea how long it takes to starve these guys out of a display if I were to remove all of my snails?

I have been debating pulling all of my snails into a quarantine tank for more frequent/easier removal of pyramid snails. These guys sure are a pain in this butt!

There is no documentary about starve them out but information from experienced folks that deal with them in their tank, they said 3 months for eggs life cycle plus 8~9 months to be safe so you are looking at 1 year without snails in your tank.
