My ammonia badge was reading .05 on my alert badge so I did a 6g water change in my 20g. How long should it take before the badge will change back to green? Worried because I think my raccoon butterfly died today because of ammonia burn.

The badge takes about 15 minutes to detect and change. Did you use any bacteria suppliment such as Bio Spira? What sort of filteration are you using?

I’m running copper power, so only have matrix in the HOB and dosing prime daily. The qt was set up in an emergency and I used Dr. Tim’s. I finally found on their website that it takes about 4 hours to go back to green.
