Ok.. so I have two Three Qt systems set up.
55 Gallon copper for fish . 40 days. and somtimes longer
30 Gallon for SPS . new arrivals are cut off plugs , reglued on new plugs and watched fror 45 days
20 Gallon for new inverts like snails.. fallow..tank no fish. 70 days.

So wondering .. i use to do the Tank Transfer Method.. did not work well for fish.. so thinking..

I need to put a sea hare in my main display as soon as possible to nail down the algea.. can we do a TTM with Sea Hare for 14 days.

While on subject am I correct Ick will not attach to snails. ??

thanks

Ttm is only effective on fish and only effective against ich.

Sea hare, no hard surface for cysts to attach so you only have to worry about free swimmers. Rinse well, qt for 16 or more days, rinse well again and transfer should be sufficient.
