This is for everyone/me also just needing more tips and maybe tricks to having a quarantine tank.

1. Is it important? Why?

2. Does it need to be cycled?

3. What are the main sicknesses saltwater fish get?

4. What treatments to use?

5. How long should I quarantine before putting back in display?

All Questions/Tips are appreciated and also these questions are some others may want to know.

Some people don’t QT. I’m one of them. It adds stress which can lead to fish not eating. I you can select healthy stock, an acclimation box will do wonders to keep the fish healthy.

I'll address Question No 5:

True quarantine involves 2 weeks min. Copper treatment preferably 30 days and a 14 day feeding with food soaked in Praziquantel and Metronidazole (Fritz ParaCleanse) as a de-wormer. Followed by some observation time in holding for your main display.
