I have 30 gal Bio Cube, but will be getting a larger tank in the near future . I just wanted to know is the 30 gal too large to use as a quarantine tank, and if not how do you set one up ? In other words, what do you need in a quarantine tank ? I know No live rock at all .. Just need suggestions . Thanks !

30 g is ok to use as a QT.
Ya want a filter running, being as you don't need to run a skimmer.
Large PVC for the fish to hide in, heater, maybe a small powerhead. Thats about it.

And a lid, possibly something covering the side so the fish can have quiet time.
My current QT set up; 20L, lid with light, towel covering holes, aquarium backing cover front side, HOB filter, heater, 1 powerhead, ammonia alert badge, 2 PVC pipes and a an air pump that comes on if the power goes out.
