have observed over the last 2-3 months growth on the upper lip of queen angel. I now have also observed that he will go to the corner and face up while breathng heavier then normal. WHen I approach the tank he comes right to me but still breathing a bit heavier then normal. He seems to be eating fine. I’m now thinking this is a tumor of some sort that has manifested on the upper lip. Just as FYI he has been thru several regimens of Bacteria (nitro/Kana/Metro) and copper for parasites before any of the tumor like growths appeared. Thoughts and treatment suggestions (hope there is one) appreciated..

Often I see this occur when they are caught by a net but does not look like the case. Other possibilities are food caught in its mouth, injury or Heterotrophic bacteria due to attemped feeding and food spoiling within tank causing it to labor breath.
Other concern I have is blotches/patches on its skin which for sure suggest bacterial issue and I would suggest treatment in quarantine tank with Seachem kanaplex, with added air stone for oxygen and maintaining water quality. Clown too seems to have some fin rot
What test kits are you using and what is current ammonia and nitrate level ?
