ive been wanting to get a small rbta for my reef tank. but dont want it to kill all my nice rainbow acans, scolys, rhizos and other lps in my sand bed. i only have rics and zoas in my rock work so would a bubble be ok in my tank?do they roam alot?

I doubt the BTA will stay near the sand bed. I have 3 of them and they moved about until they found a low current spot and they moved up to under MY 150 MH about 12 to 14" from the bulbs. They will wipe out zoes and rics.

did it travel alot? or did it stay in the area you put it?

just put 3 of them in my reef for my clown's i will let you know but i know nem's till they find there place it up for grab's.

ok.. sand bed will be fine now i just gotta figure out if it will travel across my tank or stay in a general area
