Hello, reefers. I have a question about adding fish. I started a new waterbox Infinia 230.6 tank, the cycle is complete, and a pair of clownfish have been swimming for three days now. I have a three-year-old blue hippo (Dory), he's already healthy as a pig, and I also have a copepend, and they get along well. I ordered three medium-sized yellow tangs from Dr. Reef. Will there be any problems with the hippo? I can exchange it for a small one at the store. Is it worth it?

When I look in my Fishbowl-ball I am not sure what I am seeing in the future but I think that there is a reasonable chance that they will be able to get along well enough.

Still, additions should always be monitored for awhile to see that they are able to handle each other’s presence in a positive way.

Thank you, is there a reason not to see them?

What is a copepend?

I had that many tangs in a 150G that was 4’ long and 36” deep and they did fine.

Sorry, typo, Copperband.

So, should I remove the hippo tang or not? Maybe I should just give it away because I want to scoly.

Blue hippo removal? Just no. He’s been there.

I have all this and more, feed often. 3x a day.

You’re likely fine.
