Question about AP700 programming

I have a Kessil AP 700 and for some reason it will not shut off. I am using the standard program that comes on the App but it stays on. I tried rebooting app and unplugging light to “reset” it but that does nothing. I know it’s an older light and the App is horrible, but does anyone have any idea what to do? If I can’t fix it I may have to just add it in to my Eb832 so I can control when it comes on and goes off.

Honestly probably just need to upgrade to the AP9X. I've had numerous problems with two AP700s and my Kessil IT guy says it's probably something with the circuit board. That being said, we tied it into the Apex and it works perfectly (when the cooling fan on the light works of course)

Is the light itself on manual by chance? Are you connected WiFi direct (phone WiFi set to the kessilxxxx WiFi), or through your router WiFi? Have you updated to the latest firmware (I forgot what version but I don’t believe it’s available through the website any longer)? Kessil customer support has been terrific in my experience and may be more help as not many are still running these. I have a couple out in the garage just gathering dust. They are pretty decent lights but as you say the app isn’t great.

I figured it out. I was unable to connect because I wasn’t connected to the Kessil WiFi. When I connected to that via my phone I was able to setup the light. Both are working fine now. I would hate to drop 8-9 hundred on an AP 9x when these 2 work just have to deal with the glitchy app.
