If I lose power, do they return to their last state when the power is restored? I guess I want to know will they act like my Kasa smart outlets? Or will they just default to an off state like most smart outlets?

If power is lost the wifi strips outlets will default to off but once the wifi communications is back up and the Hydros controller or collective it is paired to is back up the controller will tell any outputs that are supposed to be on to turn back on. I have powered down a wifi strip and when it is powered up the outputs that are supposed to be on will turn back on. The router has to be up and running along with the controller or collective. The other options would be a XP8 or Launch. Both are controllers that have built in AC outlets on them. If you have a collective setup with multiple controllers in it the controllers will communicate with each other over the Hydros command bus so they do not rely on wifi to share information with each other. A collective acts like one larger controller with all inputs and outputs of it's member controllers. But to be in a collective the controller has to be connected to the other controllers with a command bus cable. It a daisy chain type system where each controller has two command bus ports. You would also need two terminators and also create the collective with one controller in the app and add the others to the collective. I currently have 15 controllers in my collective. If I lose power, do they return to their last state when the power is restored? I guess I want to know will they act like my Kasa smart outlets?
