My octospawn has been doing this for about a month, just barely extending. I’m not sure if maybe it’s trying to split (judging by the skeleton shape) or if something’s wrong with it. I’ve moved it lower in the tank thinking too much light could’ve been an issue but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I’ll also attach a photo of what it looked like before you can see it on the middle right looking juicy and extended.

Also it was perfectly fine for months and the parameters when it was happy hasn’t changed, this is the tank now.

it looks pretty bad, will hard to get it to revive without some drastic measures as it's been that way for a month.

It is a walling type so fragging it will be hard, but if you have antibiotics on hand, I would cut off the right half and try to save the left half. I would use either Coral Infection Elimination Dip or an Antibiotics dip the fragged portion to prevent an infection.

Or try dipping it now but I think the right half is too far gone.

Please provide parameters so we can see what the cause might be.
