hey everyone just got my first corals today. I am running a 120g reef. I picked up frags of gsp, Monti cap & Hammer. The hammer polyps have fully extended after about 30 min. Its been about an hour and the gsp are still hiding should I be worried? I have them glued to a piece of rock at the. bottom of the tank . Tested water perimeters right before I placed them in and everything checked out fine.

I have some GSP that took a full day to finally make their appearance. All of the moving around usually throws them off for a bit. Just remember, they do like a good amount of light. So if they don't get enough, they will keep hidden for a while.

They'll take a little time to get used to your tank. and yes they love the light plus not super clean conditions. But, once they get used to your tank they'll take off. I have never been able to kill them even when I tried!
