How stable is your AlK after tuning your reactor? Just installed mine and my lows are 8.1 (evening) and 8.7 (night). I dose all my Kalk at night which is probably why my alk goes so far up at night. Should I change Kalk dose 24/7?

More alk may also be used during the day. With the kalk, you have to decide between alk stability (dose during the day) or pH stability (dose at night) or something in between.

I am +/- .2 of my target 11.5 dKH a majority of the time and consider that to be "stable". If you are targeting 8.4 then you are only sitting +/- .3 so I would still over all consider you stable.

If it makes that same change (or close to it) every day, then it is unlikely to be a concern.
