So I just got done dry fitting the aquariums together. I drilled 10 gallon aquariums. FYI don’t ever do that just get 20 Longs and put in breeding dividers.

Anyway I was curious as to what you guys thought of flat run drains. I got done and realized I hope I didn’t have to have a slant to them for draining purposes. I installed ball valves on every return for each tank so I can control flow for whatever reason.

I know flat runs aren’t ideal but with it being just for clown breeding I wasn’t expecting a HUGelE turnover in water.

3/4 drains and 3/4 returns.

From what I’ve read. The flat drains will run a bit noisy because air pockets form in the runs but it won’t effect performance.
