Question on New Filter

I want to get a new filter the one i have is garbage it is a NEXX filter by API... i have lots about the fluval and the Cascade could someone tell me what they think is better... the only difference i see is that the cascade has a spray bar and you can control the amt of water it puts out and with the Fluval you cannot control the amt of water it puts out.
