Good day R2R Members, my Name is Boyd. I am just getting back into SW, after 40 years with FW Discus. I am considering the purchase of the above mentioned stand, 50"LX19"Deep/Wide, with sump designed for the 100 gallon RS Tank ( it broke on previous owner ) I would like to put a Innovative Marine Nuvo 100 gallon EXT. 47.3"L X 23.6" Wide. Weight of tank 246+water and rock/sand total about1100 pounds. What are your thoughts of placing a sheet of wood the dimensions of the tank on top of the stand. I am thinking reinforcing with 2X4 underneath, any suggestions would be appreciated.
