The tank has been running for about 2 years and I seem to always fight these... Nitrate is 3.4, Phosphate 0.05 ALk - 8.5. I test these weekly and try to make sure there are detectable N and P. Ca and Mag i test monthly and are pretty stable at ~400 and 1400. PH runs 8.1 - 8.4
Hello,
If your corals are healthy, one easy option that can be effective is:
-Try to blow or remove all dinos… as much as you can!
-Turn the lights off for 3 days…famous blackout.
-during this period, makesure to increase slightly nitrate and phosphate.
Meanwhile you can research a bit other options to get rid of them after this …. And if lucky … they might be gone!
The advantage of this blackout is that you gain time and you can decrease significantly the “infestation” so that other things can compete against them.
