I'm creating another collective and I have a quick question on the Hydros Start controller. In the power section on collectives they mention the XP8, WE (V1/V2/LE), Sole, Kraken and X10 as having power isolation but they don't mention the Start or the Launch.

I connected a WE LE into a collective with the Start using a data/power cable and terminators. Is this okay?

The Launch and Start do have protected power supplies. Golden rule of thumb, if a Hydros device has 1) dedicated 4 pin POWER port connector (X10, Blenny, XD, etc) or a 2) dedicated power cable (XP8/Launch/Start/Kraken etc).... it HAS a protected power supply. the ONLY power supply that IS NOT protected is the one that plugs into the 5 pin command bus port.

Thanks, that is what I figured but since they didn't mention them explicitly, I figured I'd better double check. The collective is working fine I just didn't want to blow anything up down the line.
