Quick question about cutting my Sunny D's

my Sunny D's are reaching and I am wondering if I could cut it closer to the head to frag them.

As far as i understand no. U have to Pry the foot off and then glue it to a frag plug or rock

Do not cut the stalk. It will die. Cut the mat in between polyps.

This is not true. I always frag mine by cutting at the base of the Zoanthid . Glu to a plug and good to go

I prefer to include as much of the mat as possible.They seem to recover much better and are more likely to survive.
