Quick question about sps shipping

What is the best way to ship a larger sps like 6 or seven inches branching. I dont want it to break should I float it upside down in a large bag or is there a better way for these?

If you can find a water tight plastic container that will fit the coral into it nicely, then take the container full of water and place the coral inside, put plastic bags crumpled up all around the coral to keep it from moving around and bumping into the sides. Then put the plastic container into a plastic bag and tie it up in case the container leaks and place it in your styro lined box. Fill any extra space around the container with peanuts or paper or whatever stuffing you have and ship it. Add a heatpack of course.

Putting a coral that big in a bag whether its floating upside down or not will greatly increase the odds of it crushing itself, or puncturing the bags.

If you want to do a practice run first you can send me a colony that size and I in return will let you know how you did.

Try and get a conainer just a little bigger then the actual coral too.

They come from indo wrapped in a fish bag and tied to styrofoam square with rubber bands and trippled bagged with Oxygen.
I just wish they would add some amquel to the bags to.

I recieve very few that are damaged very badly and some are very large colonies.

What I think, buy a tupperware that will hold it, superglue gel / 2 part the coral onto something flat or cut the base flat, then attach superglue / 2 part it to the bottom, fill to the top with water, put the lid on, duct tape lid on, use the styro peanuts so it doesn't move in box. Good to go!
